NAP MANOR HOSTELS

Experience Mumbai through the eyes of a local and be prepared to be mesmerized by the confluence of cultures still holding an identity of its own, making sure that by the end of your stay with us, you would be compelled to call it ‘Aamchi Mumbai’ (Our Mumbai) just like every other one who steps foot in the city, a local or naturalized Mumbaikar.

Food Tour

To know a Mumbaikar, you must eat what he eats, indulge in the flavours that go beyond his daily habits. Although decorated with top restaurants at every part of the city, it would be an understatement to say that each nook and cranny is bejeweled with the most loved street food joints, that attract more crowd than the five star restaurants. Get yourself intimate with the gastronomic culture of the town at these hidden stars through the exclusive food tours organized by our expert local guides at Nap On Map to exploit these and many more for breakfast, lunch, dinners and those meals in between as well! You can lay your hands on the famous Pav bhaji, breakfast delicacies at Café Madras, chaats at Juhu Chowpatti, Mumbai sandwiches, Misal pav, the Vada pav at Kirti College, and various other tidbits that make Mumbai a food lover’s paradise!

Slum Tour

Among the finger-licking food and the glamorous Bollywood scenes, Mumbai is also known for the largest slum in Asia, ‘Dharavi’. Topping the list of the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Experiences 2019- India, the tour of this slum area has surpassed the lone wonder of the world that we have in India, the Taj Mahal in Agra. Bringing in a lot of interest owing to the movies, Slumdog Millionaire and Gully Boy, there is curiosity and surprise at the human marvel of living at ‘much ease’ among the poverty. We are partnered with the top Slum-Tour organizers in the city to give you an experience that would consume your fascination and leave you in awe for the few hours and much later as well. Get in touch with our reception to help you book an experience.

Mumbai City Tour

For the City of Dreams, there is no sleeping! Awake and buzzing until the wee hours of the morning, whether you are finishing your night late or starting an early day, you will never feel alone! In the literal sense of the term the city never sleeps, there is always that experience of the power, lights, glitz, fun and fame. From the silvery beaches at the end of the city to the skyscrapers skirted by slums or the film studios, there is a little for every type of person here. The dynamic landscape houses the architectural wonders of older real estate of British Bombay in addition to the wonder of famous Ambani-residence ‘Antilia’ and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link of modern Mumbai. But with the number of views that are worth a trip, we at Nap-on-Map have split the city into three different tours, viz., South Mumbai tour on Tuesdays, Central Mumbai on Fridays and Bandra Express walking tour. We also have a dedicated Pub Crawl, taking you to the best of them for food, fun and frolic and drinks of course. Ask us today for the tour details with a local guide, or let us tailor-make a detailed tour that picks your fancy.

Other Activities

In addition to sight-seeing and participating in the rat race of the town, if you wish to avoid the peak traffic hours, we are still hoarding a cupboard full of exciting activities to entertain you to make the most of your visit here and stay with us. We organize a traditional Indian thali lunch for you to taste a little bit of everything. Look forward to an evening of Open-Mic and Story Telling to share a bit of yourself and to learn a bit about the others staying with you. We also celebrate the festival of Holi – a little colour never hurt anyone, Diwali – the celebration of life with lights, firecrackers and sweets, a very Mumbaikar twist to Christmas and not to forget New Year’s Eve as we move on to brighter days and times.
