The female dorm

The 8-Bed Female Dorm is for women only. It's on the first floor, air-conditioned with a ceiling fan, and — to be upfront — it has no window. Like all our dorms, it uses the shared washrooms outside the room: dorm guests share seven washrooms, with hot rainfall showers. Every bed has a personal locker, a reading light and a power plug.

Prefer your own space? There are two private rooms on the first floor, both with windows: one shares a washroom, the other has its own bathroom. Towels and toiletries are free in both.

What's in place

• Reception is open 24 hours, so there is someone at the desk whether you land at noon or at 3 AM.
• CCTV covers the common areas, corridors and entrance. There are no cameras in the dorms, private rooms or washrooms.
• Visitors are welcome in the reception area only, until 10:00 PM — so the rooms stay for guests.
• Quiet hours run from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• A personal locker at every bed, plus free luggage storage at reception before check-in and after check-out.
• Hair dryers are free to borrow at reception.
• Breakfast is free — a buffet every morning from 8:30 to 10:30 AM, and a relaxed way to start the day alongside other travellers.

Finding us

We're on Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Road in Santacruz East, near Vakola Police Station — the landmark to give your driver. Mumbai Airport Terminal 1 is 3.7 km away (about 13 minutes by car) and Terminal 2 is 6.3 km (about 18 minutes); a prepaid taxi or an app cab (Uber or Ola) is the simplest way in. Good to know before you book

• Guests must be aged 18–55, with a valid ID at check-in, and travelling from outside Mumbai — IDs with a Mumbai address can't be hosted.
• Dorm guests can buy a towel for ₹150 (yours to keep) and a toiletries kit for ₹50 at reception.
• Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before check-in; inside 48 hours, one night is charged.
